RAILCOP

           RAILCOP has taken over operation of Track Workshop and Machine Shops at Raiwind from Pakistan Railways for a period of five years for manufacture of track fittings/fastenings and to carry out complete overhauling and major repairs to track machines and cranes. The annual turnover of both the Shops is Rs.400 million approximately.

           After taking over, RAILCOP has renovated/rehabilitated the old structure of the Shops and started improving and uplifting of Workshop machinery and infrastructure under a Phased Program. This has considerably increased the productivity and quality standard of the products.

           The annual production of some of the high frequency items has increased tremendously as under : -
